After the enormous success attained with the first Congress and outstanding confirmation of this success with its impressive development in the second, the International Congress of Yoga and Alternative Therapies had its test of maturity at its third manifestation. Again organized under the patronage of ATMAN, the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation, the event took place again in Bucharest, between 22 and 25 of November, 2012. The Congress was once again hosted by the Movement for Spiritual Integration into the Absolute, which had rightfully earned this position considering the experience accumulated over previous events, the positive feedback received from participants and even more the enthusiasm shown by the large number of volunteers at the Congress, all students of the Romanian yoga school, all of which helped to make this large event possible.

More than 50 lecturers from 14 countries gathered in an ambiance of spiritual aspiration and effervescence, with the aim of bringing “Spirituality – the Science of Consciousness that is inspired by God” to the world. Variety, complexity, profoundness, originality, were only a few of the attributes characterizing the large number of lectures, seminars and workshops presented during this Congress. But a word reflecting the level of this Congress more accurately is professionalism. Many of the conferences mentioned studies that were carried out in the spirit of authentic science, some of them already published in books and reviews, proving that the correct approach of such a genuine spiritual path – yoga – integrates all the basic principles of science, without forgetting that the first place must always be given to God. On the opening day, yoga professor and accomplished yogi Gregorian Bivolaru offered an extended and comprehensive conference on “Consciousness and its mysteries”, thus setting a high standard for the third Congress. Because of the high quality of lectures given, probably one of the most difficult things for all those participating in this spiritual manifestation was choosing between the activities that were running simultaneously in the four different halls.

For the first time in the history of the Congress, highlighted events were transmitted live by MISA TV (http://misatv.ro). This increased the audience from more than 1000 who participated in person to more than 40.000 who followed the on-line live transmissions. This was a major step forward for the organizers, allowing those who could not join the Congress in Bucharest to have access to both live and recorded lectures on the MISA TV webpage. These recordings are still accessible, and a taste of the high quality of this Congress is available here: (http://misatv.ro/congres-yoga-2012/).

Along with conferences, seminars and movies premiered, the third Yoga Contest for Promoting Spiritual Values was held on the last day of the Congress. Over eight hours of spiritual manifestation, with 62 participants from eight countries who successfully passed the four stages of the contest. Like the previous contests, this contest also tested the endurance and correct posture in the practice of yoga asanas,  empathic ability and intelligence. A large audience watched breathlessly and in perfect silence as Adrian Cotora, a MISA yoga student, performed Vrishikasana for 11 minutes and 39 seconds. And the contest also broke a record of a different kind. Eight of the 62 participants succeeded to correctly identify a specific inner state that was transmitted telepathically for 10 minutes by yoga professor Gregorian Bivolaru, out of 49 possibilities! Even more surprising was that 3 people (2 from Bucharest and one from Geneva, Switzerland) who were part of the online audience of the MISA TV broadcast – were also able to correctly identify the state.

As the science of consciousness inspired by God, yoga is also a science of life – probably the most elaborate one. Thus, such a congress, as a celebration of yoga also had to be a celebration of life. Amongst the alive, warm and all-embracing atmosphere created by MISA, the hosts of this event who were full of hospitality, was an enthusiastic and dedicated artistic team. Along with the exceptional concerts (given by Meru and Devas) the Congress included a “humour contest” for the first time. Organized, presented, judged and at the end awarded by the talented actors of Sophrozin theatre group in a spirit of laughter and joy of life, the contest invited all those from the audience to share a joke or a comic situation, later aiming to unveil its profound spiritual meaning. We dare to hope that such a contest will be a constant presence at the International Congresses of Yoga and Alternative Therapies from now on. But the height of all the artistic manifestations was the theatre performance staged by Sophrozin – The School of Love. In a hall completely filled with more than 800 people, the audience and actors experienced three hours of authentic, objective art. Pantomime, dance, inspired words, sacred music and exceptional inspiration, were all mixed together into a magic story about the eternal ideal of Divine Love, the foundation of life, the essence of any spiritual path.

The International Congress of Yoga and Alternative Eastern and Western Therapies – “Spirituality – The Science of the conscience that is inspired by God” began in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy. In celebration mode, the Sophrozin Theatre from Romania presented a dynamic grouping of yoga positions inspired by the millenary yogic tradition. The audience rejoiced in the actors’ acrobatics and gracefully performed asanas. It was followed by a sensitive moment of evocation of the subtle angelic realms that permanently protect and influence the existence of each of us.

IMG_2766IMG_2782DSC_9617

Then the honorary president of the Congress, Advaitananda (Mihai Stoian), from the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation Atman, had the opening speech and invited one by one the representatives of the yoga schools that have sent their participants to the congress from various countries: England, South Africa, Bosnia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Hungary.

IMG_2902Afterwards, all the participants had a spiritual experience in unison, a short but intense meditation with the state of enthusiasm and aspiration towards the Absolute.

IMG_2942The first presentation of the congress referred, of course, to the yoga school that has generously hosted this Congress for the third time in a row, the Movement for Spiritual Integration into the Absolute (MISA), a school that is inspired and guided by its mentor, yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru.

IMG_2974Next followed a special conference sent by him on this occasion, entitled “Consciousness and its enigmas.” This presentation was sustained by two unique films – where yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru proves an exceptional manifestation of certain paranormal phenomena.

In the first documentary, Mr. Bivolaru performs the movement at will, by telekinesis, of the needle of a compass – the experiment takes about 50 minutes. During this time, a professional compass of high precision is influenced by him from a certain distance and it moves exactly as his hands move.

The second documentary involves the use of a special device that tests bio-energetic field and mental strength. This device was invented by a Hungarian engineer named Egely (http://egelywheel.net/en) who has tested it on several thousand people around the globe, including renowned martial arts instructors, masters of different spiritual schools and others. When Mister Egely saw the film documentary that was made by yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru with his experiment, he said he had never met such an amazing performance that not only shows an extraordinary bio-energetic field, but also an amazing mental power of remotely influencing the device in a way previously thought not to be possible.

The whole evening was concluded with a beautiful concert of sacred music inspired by the traditional peoples of the Balkans and the Middle East: the Meru band from Sf. Gheorghe, Romania.

IMG_3016The events of the first day of the congress were followed by a large audience online on the net, on misatv.ro . The organisers have already received congratulations from their fellow yogis from California, South America, Scandinavia, India etc who have enjoyed the opportunity to watch the congress even if they could not come to Bucharest.

Friday, November 23rd, the second day of the Congress clearly proved the obvious complexity of this event, unique in the world. What to choose and what to attend from the multitude of activities proposed by organizers? In the four halls of the congress there were fascinating presentations on the paranormal powers that one can develop and achieve through yoga, lectures on the mysteries of the Ayurvedic Indian medical tradition that brings health and harmony, on the secrets of Tantra Yoga and… humor!

The presenter chose (with some difficulty) to point out some activities in the overall context, and had very much enjoyed the great initiative of the MISA-TV station misatv.ro, which promised to post and thus offer soon all the conferences of the Congress’ and make them available on their site.

Ioana Plăviţu (MISA – Romania) had a lecture about Yoga and Time Travel, an ever existing dream of mankind, a desire that has set fire to the brilliant minds of modern scientists who have been studying the enigmatic subatomic particles that seem to defy temporal linearity, and the traditional yogic psychic power.

ioana-plavituIn yoga, time is referred to as a unique form of energy where past, present and future are always merged into an eternal present moment which is accessible through certain advanced yoga techniques.

Chloe Hünefeld (Deutsche Akademie für Traditionelles Yoga – Germany) made a significant parallel between elements of Traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy and the science of subtle coloured currents of force (frequencies of fundamental energy that manifest on the astral level and create, among other phenomena, the so-called coloured human aura that can be perceived through clairvoyance). The holistic approach to these issues provided interesting answers on how homeopathic remedies and those of Traditional Chinese Medicine work.

chloe-hunefeldDaniela Dae, one of our most beloved yoga instructors, represented Natha Yoga School from Finland, and spoke about The State of Happiness – An Indicator Of The Spiritual Level Achieved Through Yoga. She actually naturally manifests this state, as a result of the seriousness of her constant practice of the yoga techniques that she teaches.

daniela-daePeople everywhere strive, consciously or unconsciously, passionately or with calm, to be happier and to suffer less – and yet. pure happiness is often confused with joyful but superficial emotions. Pure and lasting happiness involves one learning to see things from the proper perspective and to reduce the gap between appearance and Reality. For this purpose, yoga is very helpful, both physically – by improving the functioning of our body and thus leading us to a state of harmony that generates happiness, but also through the calming of the mind, a fact that leads one to discover deeper realities of his inner being, whose nature is happiness itself.

Mr. Maxim Hongell (Natha Yoga School, Finland), Dr. Violeta Parvu and Mr. Cezar Scriba from Romania shared secrets from the millenary tradition of Indian Ayurvedic Medicine that they have practiced with great success, wise methods of regaining health and even personal discoveries, such as the relaxing effects resulting from the association of music-therapy with phytotherapy.

maxim-hongellYoga instructor Michael Teodorescu (Romania) had a presentation on Transfiguration – the Art of transition from the profane to the sacred, followed by certain practical techniques done together with the audience. The great secret of the tantric path, transfiguration, is a divine attribute, a language of the ascending soul, a tool for self-transformation and for our approach towards others, a direct key to experience God’s ineffable presence, both in everything around us and within us.

In the halls of the Obor ashram, there were presentations of certain aspects of the yogic tradition: About Yoga Meditation – Dhyana(yoga instructor Mircea Morariu – MISA Romania), The Golden ratio – expression of the universal divine harmony (Gianina Georgescu, yoga instructor), as well as from the tantric tradition: Sexual continence and multiple male orgasm (Ciprian Fodor, Romania) and Transpersonal amorous experiences (Aida Calin, Romania).

Vajrananda (Mogens Nielsen) and Pernille (Hansen Liland) from Natha Yogacenter, Denmark had a large audience for their presentation: The stunning spiritual effects of a 3 year, 3 month, 3 week and 3 day retreat. It is very famous in the Tibetan tradition to go to a cave retreat for 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days. Vajrananda and Pernille, under the guidance of their spiritual guide, Grieg, chose an adapted version and did this retreat in the Carpathian Mountains, near the village Sirnea. There they followed an intense meditation programme (Pernille’s diary mentions over 13,000 hours of meditation), yoga positions (asanas), Karma Yoga and different techniques from other spiritual traditions (Kalachakra, Tantra, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga , Shivaism). Their lecture was an exciting moment of confession and poetry, which included a presentation of several hundreds of photographs illustrating the highlights of their spiritual adventure.

In unison with one of the topics of this congress was the lecture kept by Cristian Constantinescu and Dr. Dan Spătariu.

Cristian Constantinescu (MISA, Romania) presented a lecture on the topic: A special method for creating resonance with Platonic solids. Modern physics has revealed many truths that were hidden within the precepts of the ancient world’s wisdom. For example, the energy of the form, which was very much used in antiquity, until recently has remained an enigma for scientists. The most spectacular and at the same time initiating forms are the 5 basic shapes from Pythagoras (the so-called perfect polyhedrals and Pythagorean bodies). The intensive study of the archetypal forms, by using ancient symbols, astronomical calculations, quantum physics, resonance of acoustic waves and so on, has created over years a solid theoretical base that later resulted in the construction of certain special devices. Each device has a unique and specific capacity to manifest and generate resonance states with different specific frequencies of vibration. Thus a specific phenomenon of occult resonance is triggered with one particular subtle energy centre of the human being, or with several such resonance foci (chakras) simultaneously. This is an easy, yet accessible way to activate the centres of force within the human being and to experience their reality and the levels of understanding and experience that they facilitate.

Dr. Dan Sorin Spătariu – MISA, Romania had a lecture on Quantum physics and the ultimate experience in Samadhi Yoga. Quantum physics opens a new chapter at the confluence of spirituality and science. All great thinkers in this field reached certain conclusions, which, in the absence of a genuine spiritual integration would remain only paradoxes. Great modern physicists have come to describe the universe in a way that reminds very much of the metaphor of the ancient yogic tradition. Moreover, quantum physics postulates and even demonstrates (mathematically) certain possibilities to be real, that up until now may have seemed to be only fantasies, powers that scholars have stated in the Orient for thousands of years and that are known as siddhis in the yogic terminology (paranormal powers) …

And last, but not least, on Friday we had the bubbly humour contest with public participation! Daring spectators went on stage telling jokes and then describing their spiritual meaning. The contest was organized by the talented actors from Sophrozin Theatre, who presented, appreciated and awarded the best jokes. Moreover, they performed a few very funny and successful plays themselves.

jury_humorhumor_4The presentation of awards for the best “funny-advisers” was done by the band DEVAS (devas.ro) who also held a delightful mini-concert of electronic music with tracks from their upcoming album Love-Trance-Fusion.

This way, in an uplifting atmosphere combining symphonic harmonies with trance rhythms (from DEVAS), the second day of the congress ended, with long-lasting and enthusiastic applauses of more than 500 spectators present in the big hall in Pipera 1.

misa-tv

Saturday, November 24th was the big day of the congress: the largest number of activities (34 lectures and seminars in one day) coupled with the play offered by the magical theatre Sophrozin. The audience was extremely delighted by the academic standard of the presentations, by the welcoming hosts and by the warm and relaxed atmosphere inspiring a dialogue between speakers and audience, as well by the spiritual richness that was so generously offered by the Atman International Federation of Yoga and Meditation, the organizers of this congress. We will name now some of the most appreciated activities.

The Obor Ashram Halls Presentations

Chloe Hünefeld from Deutsche Akademie für traditionelles Yoga, Germany started the day speaking of Amma, the famous contemporary Indian mystic and saint. Afterwards, for the increasingly attentive people, followed Adina Stoian (Natha Yogacenter Denmark) with a presentation of a new model of understanding love from the tantric perspective. The participants were very pleased with the practical value given by the proposed model for everyday life, which could facilitate the rapid and lasting harmonizing of their relationships and even (re) acquisition of a state of inner harmony and happiness by practicing active love in the Tantric way.

adinaThen there was a seminar of Spiritual therapy with sounds produced by Tibetan bowls (Danielle Ruah and Dorin Achim – MISA, Romania) and one about Yogic practical modalities for awakening and developing capabilities of subtle sensorial perception, tactile, visual and auditory (Jayson Acs – MISA).

Dr. Agenor Fischer (Kőrösi Csoma Yoga Egyesület , Hungary) presented his medical research on the beneficial effects of deep yogic meditation. Using electroencephalography (an electro-physiological method of exploring the central nervous system, consisting of bio-currents registration of the trans-cranium fields at the level of the skin and their computerized recording in time as waves) together with a simultaneous monitoring of the heart rate and of breathing, he obtained a complete picture over the physiological and electro-physiological changes occurring during deep yogic meditation.

Such beneficial results on the brain and on the entire human body resulting from yogic meditation (especially the Laya Yoga technique) are now medically proven. At the end of the lecture, the audience suggested that such an approach deserves to be deepened and even submitted for Nobel Prize for medicine, since such study would place the millennial practice of yoga in the honourable place it deserves, even as an unconventional form of therapy designed to improve the quality of life for modern man.

agenorMarvin Matos (Natha – Escola Espiritual de Yoga e Tantra Yoga, Portugal) had a touching speech on personal revelations about faith, that he had during a pilgrimage to Fatima (a village in Portugal that became famous for the entire Christian world after Virgin Mary’s apparitions there and the miracles that occurred on those occasions in front of thousands of people, especially in 1917).

marvinFoca Ofer Yariv (Tara Yoga Centre, England) held a presentation about Reincarnation and life after death from the modern scientific perspective. Dr. Magdalena Hau from the same yoga school talked about the Mysterious science of love – a necessary tool for spiritual transformation. Irina Childs(England) spoke about Integral conscious education – the education of the future.

magdaDr. Simona Popescu and Ciprian Fodor (MISA, Romania) continued with subjects on Tantra Yoga. Uriel Yariv (Israel) made a connection between spiritual states of consciousness and the nervous system. He presented a very interesting scientific research on the effects of yogic ecstasy (Samadhi) on the brain.

urielThe Pipera Ashram Halls Presentations

In Pipera 2 Hall, this day started with a session focused on Ayurveda and alternative medicine. Sigismund Papp (MISA, Romania) spoke about the Unity of the traditional ayurvedic knowledge. Felicien Hoţiu (Romania) presented some very intriguing results of a study on the transformation of the energetic structure of a food substance after prayer and blessing. Dr. Cristina Campeanul leectured on an ayurvedic

concept that has recently become confirmed by scientific experiments: vipaka (the mysterious taste which appears in the mouth after digesting food). She talked about the numerous studies in modern neurobiology which undoubtedly confirm the existence of certain taste receptors at the level of the intestines which cause researchers in the field to assert with utmost seriousness that “we feel the food taste not only with our tongue but also with the intestine “- exactly what Ayurveda has postulated for thousands of years.

Dr. Monica Maria Pascalau (MISA, Romania) presented an interesting case study about the mysterious healing power of the prayer to God. She showed medical evidence of a case study encephalomyelitis healed through a 6 months prayer. The healing has been confirmed by a Magnetic Nuclear Resonance examination that was performed one year after the beginning of the disease.

Austin Allen (Tara Yoga Centre, Ireland) took us through the Universal holographic reality explored through science and spirituality whileMr. Dan Craciun (Romania) lectured on the Sphere of knowledge and spiritual practice.

austinWe had more happiness following the seminar of yoga instructor Daniela Dae from Finland (part 2). Swami Mahalayananda (Natha – Escola Espiritual de Yoga e Tantra, Portugal) amazed us again, speaking about the fact that when we “do not know “, we can actually experience a special yogic state. His interesting lecture deciphered something about the “Mysterious and enigmatic power of the Infinite Void manifested in all phenomena that involve inspiration, art, deciding: The power of ‘I do not know’ “.

mahaThe lectures in Pipera l Hall had a large global audience being transmitted online by MISATV and watched by thousands of spectators from all over the world.

In an atmosphere of respect and consideration, dozens of the present people and another several hundred spectators watching online MISATV rejoiced listening to the world-renowned inventor, Mr. Iustin Capra. He gave a very interesting lecture on the philosophy of religion and its implications in modern science. In the end, due to the many questions from the audience, the organizers had to delay the programmes in order to allow for their completion.

iustinPhysicist and yoga instructor Cristian Ion (MISA, Romania) presented a lecture on Quantum consciousness, the principle of minimum distance regarding states and spiritual evolution.

cristiWith the necessary scientific expertise as well as his trained yogic perspective, after more than 20 years of practising yoga, he showed how the principles of optimum and Yoni-Lingam extended model, the laws of physics and the laws of spiritual evolution are revealed to us as particular manifestations of the same Divine Laws of Creation. The new model of quantum reality, which now explains in a unified way the behaviour of different structures, from the quantum level up to the macrocosmic one, validates scientifically a known pattern that was revealed by spirituality more than 10,000 years ago as the basis for everything that exists in Creation. It expresses the universal law of Yin-Yang polarity and the simultaneous, non-dual and non-contradictory behaviour as a wave-particle quantum entity, yet another step towards the desired unification in modern physics and that between science and spirituality.

Doctor in physics Benjamin Bodea (Deutsche Akademie für traditionelles Yoga, Germany) continued with a fascinating parallel between the ancient spiritual writings of mankind (the four Vedas – sacred Indian Hinduism writings of over 5000 years) and modern physics. We found out this way that all cosmologies presenting “the genesis” of all major religions are based on the Vedas.

doruThe term “Veda” means “knowledge” in Sanskrit (through direct revelation) and these writings are considered of divine origin (dictated to humans by the “gods” – celestial beings or aliens coming from other galaxies). They were passed from generation to generation with explicit instruction not to change a single letter of this vast body of knowledge. It conveys wisdom and more than that… a complete understanding of the mysteries of the universe, yet unparalleled on our planet…

The question is how it was possible 5,000 years ago for such writings to appear and, moreover, how it was possible that the wise men who wrote them were able to include these books simultaneously, yet without leaving the possibility of interference generating confusion, different levels of knowledge. This is what gives an inestimable value to these writings: they comprise, without any form of segregation, of possible discrimination, all levels of human development. They address simple human beings, such as farmers or shepherds, and those with high education, philosophers and scientists. The versatility of the Vedas can only be a testament to the versatility of those who wrote them and of the amazing depth of their understanding. That is why we believe that the return of scientists to this fountain of wisdom and knowledge will mark the beginning of a new era, a spiritual period when the boundaries between religion and spirituality will cease to exist.

Starting to decipher the deeper meaning of the Vedas, even researchers in physics, like Dr. Bodea, are amazed to discover a lot of issues (related to the genesis of the universe) that have recently been validated even by contemporary science.

The representative of the Atman Federation of Yoga and Meditation – Advaitananda (Natha Yogacenter, Denmark) enjoyed as well great popularity. His lecture was: A deeply revealing comparison between modern scientific paradigm and the traditional yogic approach to human life. We learned how spiritual traditional systems come to converge with modern scientific systems, demonstrating once again the possibility of reconciliation between religion and science.

Cutting edge science has made remarkable progress in the last years, approaching amazingly the mysterious essence of its studied aspects. On the other hand, millennial spirituality, in which authentic yogic tradition occupies a prominent place, started from essence (and also in our times) and has approached very closely everyday life. One of the characteristics of these contemporary times is the great possibility that these two “parallels” even meet. In fact, they use, fundamentally speaking, for the initiated one, the same principles and methods. Realizing this, both spiritual seekers and scientists will be able to communicate better with each other and even work together effectively for the good of all mankind, which will benefit from the synergy between science and spirituality, so necessary now.

avaIn the end of the evening, in Pipera 1, we had the pleasure of meeting again (on line) Swami Suryananda. A founding member of the European Federation of Yoga and of the World Movement for Yoga and Ayurveda, he is the President of the World Movement for Yoga and Vice President of the Italian Official Confederation of Yoga.

Since 2005, when the European Yoga Federation conducted its annual congress in Bucharest, hosted by MISA, Swami Suryananda became an enthusiastic supporter of Romanian yogis who practise under the guidance of Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru in the Movement for Spiritual Integration into the Absolute. Swami started his conference with an affectionate reminder for this Congress, seven years ago, and expressed his friendship to the organizers (MISA), to Atman Federation and Adina and Mihai Stoian with whom he kept a sincere friendship over the years. He presented 2 lectures: From suggestion to authentic knowledge and Practical aspects regarding the secret of the life’s breath.

suryanandaThe end of the evening was crowned by the show “The school of love” performed by the magical theatre Sophrozin. In a packed conference room, nearly 800 people experienced alongside the actors three hours of objective art that reached and exalted their souls. Pantomime, dance, inspired words, sacred music and exceptional inspiration were all woven into a magical story about the eternal ideal of Divine Love. And we, the lucky viewers, with tears of joy, cheered and applauded a lot in the end, not wanting to leave, although the next day that was announced already looked to be so interesting…

A Unique and High-Class Event – the International Yoga Congress 2012

The last day of the Congress signified the fulfilment of a unique, high-class event. It included, in addition to conferences, seminars and films, the long awaited Contest of Promoting the Values of Yoga and the second part of the conference Consciousness and Its Enigmas, prepared by the mentor of the host school (MISA), yoga teacher, Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru. As a result of many persistent requests to hear this lecture, you will find it posted here.

Among the most attractive activities in the Obor Halls

Johannes Dragonoff (Natha Yoga Center, Finland) had a presentation about The Concept of infinity in mathematics, physics and metaphysics – psychological and spiritual implications. Thus we learned that while general physics seeks to eliminate as much as possible the infinite from its theories, mathematicians deal with the same concept as an extremely useful tool for analysis, recognizing even an infinite series of numbers as trans-infinite, each of them “more infinite “than the other, tending towards what Georg Cantor called Absolute Infinity (or simply the Absolute). On the other hand, Rene Guénon stated that the only true infinite is the Metaphysical Infinite, an object situated beyond the concept of number and any possible limitation, and that object subsequently was assimilated to God. Johannes’s merit is to use the creative yogic meditation focused on these ideas, in order to become aware of the infinite. The practical ways offered in order to have a direct experience beyond words and concepts of the infinite, astonished the audience which was very much willing to experiment with this.

Lucian Milea (MISA, Romania) lectured on The Manifestations of the Mysterious Energy of the Ether in the Inner Universe of the Human Being and Within the “Free Energy” Technical Devices.

Such an important topic of the modern world, the energy problem and the possibility to obtain it freely, together with its expression in our inner world, has gathered a large audience in the Obor Halls. Mr. Milea has mentioned that, according to yogic spiritual tradition and certain advanced scientific approaches, the ubiquitous energy of the ether (the void, zero point energy) occurs both in the human being and in certain generators of such useful energy. An intriguing example that supports his statements is the phenomenon Inedia (medically proven, with no possible error), that involves a total renunciation to food and feeding with the subtle energies of ether only. Many Christian saints and yogis, such as Therese Neumann and Giri Bala proved this phenomenon to be true.

On the other hand, the achievements of certain scientific geniuses such as Nikola Tesla and Viktor Schauberger, have also proven that the energy of the ether can be converted technologically and beneficially used in man’s life.

Thus, Mr. Milea’s presentation has dealt with esoteric and scientific aspects of the ether, and the correlations he made with various principles and practical devices for using this power, demonstrating that both in the case of the Inedia phenomena and for the “Free Energy” devices there are involved the same type of energy and universal principles.

Hakim Kuusela and Cristian Hallivuori (Natha Yoga Center, Finland) have prepared a presentation about certain aspects referring to the tantric universal principles and how they are applied in the daily life. This can lead to profound transformations (including curing of certain diseases, or general personal development). In the end of the Obor’s program there were presented several case studies that were performed by well experienced physicians of alternative therapies and Ayurveda: Dr. Cristina Câmpean (MISA, Romania): The Ayurvedic approach of the treatment in the case of erysipelas, Dr. Monica Maria Pascalau (MISA, Romania): An Ayurvedic perspective on heart diseases’ treatment by natural means and Dr. Anca Cioltan (MISA, Romania): An Ayurvedic perspective on amenorrhea’s treatment by natural means.

From the activities in Pipera 2 Hall

Emil Noll (Natha Yogacenter, Denmark) had a presentation on Mindfulness (Beneficial mental intervention) combined with meditation and other yogic methods in order to improve and even cure some of the widespread diseases of modern man: depression, stress and anxiety.

From England, Maria Stine Porsfelt (Tara Yoga Centre) held a very well appreciated seminar interactive with the public, experiencing certain Tantric procedures developed in the special study groups that she coordinates. Thus, the participants have experienced transformative experiences where they were able to easily perceive the game of the fundamental Yin-Yang polarities.

Then, there followed two films in premiere – “The Portal” (about the discovery of an area of access and communication with a beneficent extraterrestrial civilization) and “The ultimate ancient secret of a real sexual revolution, giving loving couples endless happiness: sexual continence.”

By the courtesy of the organizers and of MISATV, the documentary movie, The Portal, can be watched online here.

The activities in Pipera 2 have ended with Advaitananda’s (Natha Yogacenter, Denmark) lecture. The representative of the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation, Atman, presented an Amazing and wise answer offered by the traditional Tantric science to the challenges the world is facing today.

He spoke about the fact that the current pace of humanity’s development seems to have by far surpassed people’s ability to follow it or even to understand it. Thus, being “left behind” by the very progress desired, humanity is facing an impressive amount of problems and challenges on all levels, which are becoming more and more complex and larger day by day. By trying to solve one problem, people find out that, due to ignorance and superficiality, other two ones become worse… Therefore, we can even say that, rather than the current energy, financial or even moral crisis, humanity is facing a major crisis of solutions in all domains. But these solutions actually already exist. They are rooted in a spiritual past that now unites within the supreme consciousness and the future, and they are applicable in the eternal present moment.

The tantric wisdom revealed these global settling directions (on different branches and levels of vibration), thousands of years ago. But their validity is always kept alive because these wise solutions are based on universal laws and principles. In this conference there were presented some of these millennial solutions, perfectly adapted to modern times, which gives us some of the much needed answers.

The Competition for Promoting Yoga Values

Pipera Hall 1 – the glorious crowning of the Congress

Unique in the world of the yogic millenary tradition because of the requirements of the competition itself and the large number of participants, the competition brought us this year a few major surprises.

The 62 yoga practitioners from England, Ireland, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, Italy and Romania successfully passed through the four stages, amounting to a total of about 8 hours of competition!

xjury.jpg.pagespeed.ic.LPmXSiYQMLThe contest started with the correct execution of yoga positions – both men and women practised three yoga techniques demonstrating mastery in their execution.

xpaschi.jpg.pagespeed.ic.o6WuPMqQFNxshalaba.jpg.pagespeed.ic.dNLxm5JXwSxIMG_1062.jpg.pagespeed.ic.HHZuYY_uShxnico.jpg.pagespeed.ic.0QBNG0aFD0xshalab1.jpg.pagespeed.ic.Sfwy1tMxV-xudd2.jpg.pagespeed.ic.rwicAzI-w2xudd.jpg.pagespeed.ic.DH-le8AZl8There was a test for men only: practising yoga postures for a long period of time.

And here we had the first extraordinary surprise – setting a record in the practice of the posture: Mr. Adrian Cotora, (Bucharest, Romania), practising yoga in the MISA school had a record time of 11 minutes and 39 seconds for Vrishikasana.

xadi1.jpg.pagespeed.ic.hI-wbVkeDdxadi2.jpg.pagespeed.ic.QUe9JARKvBThe best timing for the Mayurasana posture was recorded by Mr. Matthias Perozzi (Italy) with 3 min 56 sec.

xmayu1.jpg.pagespeed.ic.W1IcFuuwccxmaxim.jpg.pagespeed.ic.5OgJtsGD2EThe complementary test designed for women only especially pointed out elasticity in 2 yoga postures (Chakrasana and Prasarita Padatanasana). For both of them the best execution was by Carmen Stoian, Bucharest, Romania MISA yoga school.

xcarmen1.jpg.pagespeed.ic.sw-9NPj8Rwxcarmen2.jpg.pagespeed.ic.dJQsEcUTHuAnother exceptional performance was achieved in the subtle perception test. 8 out of the 62 participants were able to perceive telepathically one precise state of the 49 possible.

Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru chose and emitted a certain state for 10 minutes (a total of 5 states) and the participants, connected telepathically with the subtle field emitted by him, had to perceive it accurately. The envelope with the states to be chosen was sent by Mr. Bivolaru and was brought in the room at the beginning of the test and the correctness of this part of the competition was flawless. Amazing is also the fact that 3 of the online audience of MISATV television station that broadcasted live throughout the contest, also correctly perceived the state – 2 people from Bucharest and one from Geneva (Switzerland).

Then there was the intelligence test – 12 questions that were also sent by the mentor of the host MISA school, Mr. Bivolaru and then a test of esoteric yogic knowledge.

Once the contest ended, meaning after about 8 hours, it was followed by an extraordinary live concert of the Danish band ISIS who released on this occasion their latest album dedicated to the Great Cosmic Power of Divine Compassion – Tara.

xisis.jpg.pagespeed.ic._or5CTh2aXThe Pipera 1 Hall proved once again to be too small for over 700 participants who were present to listen to the exceptional conference that yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru sent: Consciousness and Its Enigmas (the last part). You can listen to it here, courtesy of MISATV.

The evening ended with well-deserved applause and awards.

The award winning ceremony presented us with another wonderful surprise: this time the Competition for Promoting Yogic Velues was won by a yogini, Ms. Carmen Stoian (MISA, Romania).

xcarmen3.jpg.pagespeed.ic.gQMrjUyt60The best conference of the congress was awarded to Dr. Doru Benjamin Bodea (Germany): Space, Time and beyond through Yoga.

xdoru.jpg.pagespeed.ic.bIL2vRMEV-Thus, after such a spiritual feast, which involved many touching and uplifting moments, where we listened to very interesting conferences and attended various seminars, we enjoyed great music, theatre and initiatic film, we vibrated in unison with the participants in the yoga contest and extensively to the people receiving well-deserved awards, we ended this International Congress with a deep sense of fulfilment.

It was truly a great celebration of millenary yogic values.

See you at the next edition in 2014!
