As in the previous editions, the International Yoga Contest “Competition for Promoting Spiritual Values” aims to determine the “best of the best yogis”. This competition gathers hundreds of yogis from renowned yoga schools from Europe, America, Asia that aspire to test their spiritual accomplishments undergoing different tests – Hatha Yoga Test, Subtle Perception Test, Intelligence Test and Esoteric Knowledge.
This extraordinary event has always been a genuine celebration of spirituality,for all the yogis gained a lot through mere participation: the subtle supportive field of spiritual fraternity provided transformations in all of them. This is why the competition is awaited as a highlight in the programme of the Congress.
Subtle Perception Test
The spiritual guide Gregorian Bivolaru will telepathically exemplify, one by one, 5 spiritual states chosen from a list of 49 spiritual states (e.g. the state of joy, compassion, enthusiasm, courage, love etc.).
Each participant has to open up at the subtle level, and in a state of spiritual receptivity to perceive the specific nuance of the state that is exemplified. The list with 49 different states will be provided in advance.
Hatha Yoga Test
The test of correctly practicing an asana:
All participants (men and women) will practice
For this test the accuracy of the execution of this technique will be checked.
For MEN ONLY:
The test of duration and accuracy in practising the following asanas:
The men will be tested on how long they can practise these asanas correctly.
For WOMEN ONLY:
Flexibility test – checking exceptional flexibility in the practice of
Intelligence and Spiritual Intuition Test
The Intelligence Test includes some questions testing the intelligence of the participants. An example, give it a try:
An old man has 2 sons. Before dying he is calling his sons and telling them that one of them would inheritate all his fortune. But for this they need to pass a test. They have to ride a large distance trough the dessert until a far way city. The one whose horse will arrive there the last will be the heir. Hearing this the two sons immediately jumped on the horses and stated to ride as fast as possible. Explain why.
